Student Application not Approved even after trying 12 times on different days (logged out and log in again). All profile and billing information is consistent with my student documents

Hi everyone,

My University is in mainland China so naturally I cannot access GitHub without VPN (at least most of the times). All required information (billing info is same as in my students documents) are completed, real name, github profile etc, etec. I have tried applying for Student pack using my my student ID, latest official transcript, image of my school portal with my student ID # (same number as in my student email address which is already verified on github), my full name as in github billing info, school name and full URL visible but still none of these seem to work for getting approved. Unfortunately there is no way to upload documents so I have to use my phone's rear camera. The worse part is the I want to take a picture of
an A4 sheet (official transcript) but the camera window provided my github application form is a rather very small square. When I try to capture the full sheet, which is necessary to get the date, school name, stamp etc, the the image become so small that you can barely see anything.

Hi @lutrisah,

Unfortunately, the upload option isn't always available and manual reviews aren't provided so you have to submit a live photo using your device's camera.

If the photo is blurry, try again until it looks good as also indicated in the Student Developer Pack Application FAQs:

Your first and last name, complete school name, and a date demonstrating current academic affiliation must appear in your document.
Make sure the image is clear and easy to read; if it looks blurry, please take a new photo. 👈

Make sure to fill in your billing info and GitHub profile with your full name exactly as it appears on your academic transcript. Then log out and log back into GitHub before reapplying, because the application system gets stuck in a loop even after the required information has been updated.

You can also try submitting the application from your phone or a different device.
