Tried to get the agent to change the license of some of my projects, but it keeps crashing, e.g.:

Curiously, one project it worked fine:

I fixed it, I had to set the LICENSE manually. Seems the AGPL-3 license triggers the content filter somehow. After the new license text is set, then the agents can process the rest of the changes correctly.

Repeated crashes when changing licenses can often be traced back to corrupted local state or cache. Try the following steps:

1. Sign out of GitHub in your IDE and the browser.
2. Clear your IDE's cache (e.g., VS Code cache).
3. Delete the Copilot-related folders in your local application data.
4. Sign back in and try changing the license again.
   If the issue persists, check the GitHub logs or reaching out to GitHub Support with the specific error message.

I did this on the gitlab website, no IDE involved.

The errors look like it is a content filtering issue, maybe it doesn't like the AGPL for some reason:

I tried to look for how to contact github support, but seems being a non-paying user, I don't have access to that.

If your account uses GitHub Free, you can speak to GitHub users and staff on the GitHub Community discussions for most issues, and you can contact GitHub Support to report account, security, and abuse issues.

It looks like github really does not want feedback from non-paying users. :-(

In any case I have resolved the issue now, as above, by committing the license file manually.
