"Open" discussion posts are not shown when "Open" filter is applied

I'm not when exactly this was introduced but today I noticed that some of the discussion posts in one of the repo I maintain doesn't show up in the discussions home page or even when manually selecting the "Open" filter, but they are visible if all filters are cleared. Below are couple screenshots and links to better understand what I mean:

• With default "Open" filter:

Notice that in the second screenshot the 2, 3 and 4th posts are NOT closed but they are not visible when the default "Open" filter is applied.
