its being same for 2 months
All the steps are already completed and showing ticked. How do i know the additional information you are asking, tried ticket too, no response

Two months is definitely too long, that's not normal. The approval usually takes a couple of weeks at most.

The confusing part is the message saying "We need more information" while all your steps show as completed. This is a known UX issue with the Sponsors onboarding flow where the status message doesn't always reflect the actual state.

A few things to try:

1. Go to https://github.com/sponsors/accounts and check if there's a specific section that still needs action. Sometimes there's a tax form (W-8BEN for non-US, W-9 for US) or a Stripe Connect step that looks completed but actually needs to be re-submitted.

2. Double-check your Stripe Connect account status separately. Log into Stripe directly and make sure there are no pending verification steps on their end (identity verification, bank account confirmation, etc.). GitHub can't approve your Sponsors profile if Stripe flags something.

3. For the support ticket, try opening a new one specifically through https://support.github.com/contact and choose "GitHub Sponsors" as the category. In the message, include your GitHub username and mention that you've been waiting 2 months. Ask them to check the status of your Sponsors application directly.

4. If the ticket doesn't get a response within a week, try reaching out on the GitHub community forums under the Sponsors category, sometimes staff members are more responsive there. You can also try tagging @github on Twitter/X with your ticket number.

The "we need more information" message when everything is checked off is a bug that others have reported too. In most cases, it's the Stripe verification piece that's actually blocking things.

1. i checked sponsors/accounts there was no action needed
2. Checked stripe account, it didn't asked for any additional info/form or having an pending action
3. its being 2 weeks there was no ticket response, i already mentioned the 2 months and showing everything verified, ill create another ticket anyway
