Hi everyone,

After I completed all the steps, I got the following error message:

We were unfortunately not able to verify your academic status. Please address the following issues and apply again.
I did 3 attempts all rejected. Could you help me?

Could you please share more information about the "following issues" that GitHub asked?

Most of the time, you'll either need to use a different method as proof and whatnot.

I have no clue or any information about what you did, be more specific.

I recently got my GitHub education review accepted. The method I used was by sending in my dated or working school ID.

The reason why I kept getting rejected after 2 attempts were these...

1. My billing information did NOT correspond with my name or the information on the ID.
2. I did not enable 2-step authentication or the additional verification stuff like passkeys or whatnot.
3. My GitHub nickname (not username) wasn't my real name.

But that's mostly it.
