Evidence and Image Capture

Hi everyone,

I have submitted 5 education access request applications. Each of them, I have attempted to provide every kind of documentation that I can to prove that I am, in fact, a registered post-graduate student at an accredited university in the United States. This "image capture" system that you use is inherently flawed and unable to provide reliable image capture. No matter what technology I use to capture this image, none of them have been sufficient for the automated system that processes them. I would like an actual person to review my application.

Yo, totally understand your frustration.

Just a heads-up, this is a community discussion forum, so we’re mostly fellow developers here. No one in this thread has the access to manually "approve" your application or bypass the automated system, and no "official" GitHub admin would be roaming around here on a daily basis.

If the automated capture keeps failing you, your best bet is to open a ticket directly with the GitHub Education Support team.

Mention to them that you've already tried 5+ times and want a manual review.

Though most of the GitHub admins or reviewers are lazy (they don't respond, mostly), so bear that in mind.
