Short answer: This is likely a GitHub system error affecting multiple Campus Program orgs. You're not alone. What probably happened:
What to do:
Other Campus Program users have reported the same issue recently. This appears to be a backend bug on GitHub's side, not an actual policy change. |

Immediate action: Go to github.com/support and open a ticket with: Your organization name Escalation points: Mention that this affects your entire organization's Copilot access Campus Program coordinator: Contact your school's Campus Program administrator — they may need to intervene with GitHub directly. Why this matters: Unexpected billing transitions, disabled licenses, and broken interfaces require account investigation that only GitHub's support team can do. |

Billing & Payment Issues
Hi everyone,
Hi,
On April 29, I've received an email saying that our Enterprise account which is member of Campus Program has successfully transitioned to metered billing.
Why we transition ? I've maid no demands, no changes at all. Is anyone else in this situation?
We are member of the Campus Program as a school, our contract is still valid upon 10/14/2026.
All Copilot member's license as been shut down since yesterday, we cannot do anything until I add a payment method.
I cannot reach Copilot policies page (404), I cannot do anything on enterprise page.
Even if Organization have right to assign Copilot licenses, all of them have been disabled. I can add user by user but the menu is really buggy (404, non-functional buttons, etc.)
