received an email from noreply@github.com with a title of [github] Please reset your password and havent been able to access my main account since. any advice or help?

i received an email from github on march 7th 2026 saying "please reset your password" (likey because of my passwords were leaked in a data breach) and i havent been able to reset my password or do anything since (likely because someone got in an removed my email, or i never verified it)... i dont know what to do, any advice? i'm seeking to recover my account

i did. also i reviewed all of my repositories and found one is in fact infested trojans. my main account is now at high risk of being banned. it is very likely i was hacked.

i was definitely hacked. someone put something about "brain tumors" and whatnot all up in my stuff.

argh. sorry. i'd be curious to trace where this came from. did you happen to leave yourself signed in on a shared terminal?
