Everytime i try to commit a change on vscode i am unable to as it says that my email or details are not in the system . how to i deal with that

In Codespaces, Git still needs your name and email configured inside the Codespace environment.

Open the terminal in VS Code/Codespaces and run:

git config --global user.name "Your Name"
git config --global user.email "your-email@example.com"

Use the email connected to your GitHub account. If you use GitHub’s private email option, use your noreply email from:
GitHub Settings -> Emails

Then confirm it is set:

git config --global user.name
git config --global user.email

After that, try committing again. If it still fails, restart the Codespace and try again.
