Is it possible to use alternative expressions with multiple words
For ie:
(“^…(expression|three words expression)…$”)

I cannot see all options when write a test in a .feature file
Because of whitespaces in 2nd expression I guess
I just see "< param >" instead of options needed

Technically you can escape the space with \. So ("…expression/three\\ words\\ expression…").

The design philosophy behind Cucumber expressions intends to promote simplicity and readability at the cost of expressiveness compared to using regular expressions though. So for readability it might be better if you repeat the annotation:

@Given("…expression…")
