PDK Dev Call Updates – January 13th, 2026

Armin

• Met with core devs to review the kernel as a candidate tool for data-ingestion in the tx-indexer
• Onboarded Shehu to the simulation codebase.
• Reviewed the async persistence PR.

Ben

• Worked on a fuzzing proof-of-concept using an AFL wrapper .
• Identified limitations: fuzzing cannot currently be built with all features enabled.
• Looking for someone to follow the fuzzing README and reproduce results independently.
• Scheduled a Wednesday demo to show fuzzing workflows, including how corpora guide exploration. May add targeted tests or refine existing tests into better fuzzing targets.
• Scheduled a meeting with the Liana team.
• Tracking migrated OHTTP issues: Cake Wallet developers cannot build OHTTP artifacts after the move into the monorepo -- will plan to work on this after the fuzzing POC is in a good place.
• Looking for Nothingmuch’s dev-profile Nix flake changes.

Chavic

• Observed an error that reproduces locally but not in CI.
• Planning to address issue Test gap tracking issue #1264.
• Identified a potential denial-of-service vector.
• Intends to convert findings into tracked issues.

Spacebear

• Ran a mob review session for the Payjoin service. Found the format useful for both authors and reviewers and plans to continue these sessions.
• Reviewed Chavic’s PR adding async trait method support in the UniFFI-Dart crate; goal is to test this in bindings.
• Planning follow-ups on open PRs, including async persistence and the unified directory service Unified payjoin service #1232 .
• Coordinating with Ben on Liana integration requirements.
• Participating in a Vinteum call to give a Payjoin talk and engage developers from their cohort.
• Needs an additional review from Armin on Async persistence #1235

Nothingmuch

• Paired on the transaction analysis framework https://github.com/payjoin/tx-indexer
• Continued writing and design work.
• Highlighted that Chavic identified several error-handling issues that must be resolved before the 1.0 release; Ben opened issue Test gap tracking issue #1264 to track this -- Chavic will review this issue for completeness .
• Spent time using the “lying machine” approach to critique his CoinJoin design ideas.
• Aims to turn this exploration into documentation.
• Found the questioning process more effective than feedback from other experts.

Zealsham

• Fixed an Nginx configuration issue originally reported by Ben. The problem stemmed from missing IPv6 support; the PR addresses this. [Migrated from ohttp-relay] - Example nginx.conf does not include IPv6 #1241
• Continued work on LDK integration; a draft PR is now open Add Payjoin Receiver Support lightningdevkit/ldk-node#746
