Load the package at R startup in Positron

How to set up Positron to automatically load some packages when R starts? In RStudio, I configured the .Rprofile file, and it works fine. However, it seems that the .Rprofile file is not being loaded in Positron.

Yes, can you share a bit more detail about what you are doing and the results you see?

As an example, I put library(tidyverse) in my .Rprofile and then when I start R, I see that all the tidyverse packages are in fact loaded:

Be aware that we currently have a bug tracked in #6344 where the output of cat() is not being shown from .Rprofile (but the code is being run).

I checked the .Rprofile file, and I think I found the reason: I placed the code to load the packages inside the .First function. If it’s not placed within this function, the corresponding packages will be loaded at startup.
