Will we ever get 9-10* medals for other modes?

I am well aware of people's opinion about this in the past, that medal hunters would be against this, but on the other side of the coin it would somewhat encourage other casual players to push their limits more in other modes.

and also @peppy did mention this in the past: "Not really open for discussion unless thousands of users can achieve." on the previous question regarding 11-12* medals for std (#32343 (reply in thread)), which if i recall correctly, other modes did have slightly lower if not more than that amount; and for mania the amount of players who are capable of playing 9-10* maps is most likely even higher than in std itself.

If the other rulesets active playerbase skyrockets and more people will reach that level of skill it would make sense, but for now it seems a bit trivial

Currently only 4876 players even passed a 8* map in taiko, and 2743 players FC'd a 8* map

making a 9* pass medal would only make sense if atleast 5k people FC'd a 8* map and 15k passed one (this is still being a bit generous imo) since currently the amount of people in the range that could pass a 9* map is too small to make a medal for - medal hunters exist and it would be inconsiderate to just throw medals that are almost imposible for the people in the pro range to achieve, let alone semi-regular players.

TLDR: more people very good at the ruleset = higher chance of a new SR related medal for that mode, atleast the way i see it im no dev
