Hi everyone, and welcome! π
We're thrilled to open-source Continuum β the agent runtime we built at ShyftLabs for building, running, and shipping reliable AI agents at enterprise scale.
Continuum gives you a clean, typed agent core with cost-aware multi-model inference (Smart Inference), stateful long- and short-term memory, open standards-based tool calling (MCP), durable workflows, and end-to-end observability β all behind a small, composable API.
Why we're sharing it β we believe the best agent infrastructure gets built in the open. We've run Continuum in production, and we'd love for you to build with it, poke holes in it, and help shape where it goes next.
π Get started
pip install -e ., and run your first agent (see the README)playground/π€ Get involved
good first issueorhelp wantedβ there's plenty open right now across testing, benchmarking, and packagingSECURITY.md(private) β never a public issueThis is day one for Continuum in the open, and your feedback, issues, and PRs will genuinely steer the roadmap. Thank you for being here. π
