EnvGuard is my passion project aimed at making serverless development more robust and less prone to configuration errors. Having worked with serverless functions, I experienced firsthand the headaches caused by missing or incorrectly formatted environment variables at runtime. This led me to build EnvGuard as a reliable, fail-fast solution that validates your essential configuration at the earliest possible moment – during the cold start.

The current Python implementation, built with Pydantic, is just the beginning. I'm actively working on bringing EnvGuard to other languages like Node.js to help a wider range of developers.
