I tried learning spring boot several years ago but I remember guides (supposedly should take 15m - 30m taking days to get them running) were so outdated, I gave up. This guide is one of them. NOTHING works if you want to use latest versions of spring boot and angular! Just adding it here so others can see what to expect.
