What is StyleStar?

StyleStar is a software with which to watch (and eventually, play) Dance Rush style stepcharts. The current goal is to accurately reproduce official game mechanics and functionality, and add more useful functions on top.

What is ChedSSF?

Ched is a chart editor for Chunithm style charts, and the modification thereof made for StyleStar is called ChedSSF. In this server, ChedSSF will often be called just “Ched”.

How to install

1. Download a StyleStar archive from #releases in the Discord server: https://discord.gg/sZ2jJKE
2. Extract the contents on any folder
   • You may run StyleStar at this point, but because there are no song files, you will only get an error screen.
3. In the StyleStar folder you just made, create a Songs folder
4. Add song data to the Songs folder as subdirectories
   • Your final directory should look like this.

     ├:file_folder: MonoBleedingEdge
     ├:open_file_folder: Songs
     │├:file_folder: Song 1
     │├:file_folder: Song 2
     │└︙
     └:file_folder: StyleStar_Data

How do I get song data?

Currently, they are distributed in the #chart-creation channel of the Discord server.
