The image optimizer is supposed to remove metadata like ImageOptim. I’m also not sure if it’s technically feasible. There are many tools that can read EXIF data, but I can’t find any npm packages that can modify EXIF data in WebP files in a browser. For your purposes, it would be better to upload original JPEG files and then optimize them at build time using your framework: |

Hi, I'm building a photography gallery website and set
raster_image.formattowebp.It works fine, but the EXIF metadata is missing, and my site really needs that information.
It would be great if the EXIF data could be preserved and carried over to the compressed images.
I'm not sure whether this should be a feature request, so I'm posting here.
BTW Great work! love this cms
