Hello @richardhj ! A Mapbox bridge would be great to have! Regarding the search box, this is something appealing ! At first, we will probably focus on a small set on features, supported by all bridges. Then see how we can expand features from there. |
Hi, The Mapbox bridge is something I considered when initially implementing the Map component, buuut I was to lazy to do it for a 1st iteration, Google and Leaflet were enough :D Bridges are always welcomed, creating a new one shouldn't be really hard if you mimic existing bridges. |
Since I am the most confortable with UX Map, I think it would be interesting if I open a PR to add a new Map bridge, it could be used as a reference. WDYT? |
Thank you for this issue. |
Friendly ping? Should this still be open? I will close if I don't hear anything. |
Hey, I didn't hear anything so I'm going to close it. Feel free to comment if this is still relevant, I can always reopen! |
I didn't really have the time nor motivation to work on another Map provider. |
Following the introduction of the Map component: #1937,
I want eventually work on a Mapbox bridge in the future, but if someone comes before me, I like to get to know :D
Also, I like the idea of having a "Map search box" (https://www.mapbox.com/search-box), maybe as a separate package (but not with multi-bridge support).
