View source code must also show the code as written (as DOM), for SSR

Hi! So I have been told to create a project in nextjs, but in which, when you view the source in browser, you should be able to see the tags as they are, for example, h1, or other tags, right now I am not able to see them, but they are in a different format, can anyone please help? Is it possible that view source shows us almost the same code as it were in DOM? I'm sorry if its a bit vague, let me know I will do my best to explain it better.
