This error usually isn’t a Turbopack bug, it means your project literally doesn’t have a valid Next.js install or Turbopack can’t resolve it.

A few things to check:

• Your Next.js version shows 0.0.0, which is invalid. That typically happens when dependencies are broken or not installed correctly.
• Run:
  npm ls next
  If it shows empty or errors, reinstall:
  npm install next react react-dom
• Make sure you're running the command in the correct project root (where package.json exists or in the repo sub package).
• Delete and reinstall dependencies:

rm -rf node_modules package-lock.json .next
npm install

• If you're using Bun or pnpm, ensure lockfile + node_modules are in sync.

Turbopack fails early when it can’t resolve next, so fixing the dependency setup usually resolves this immediately.
