MIDI functionality

Does Stenogotchi work with MIDI keyboards like original Plover software? Apparently the Linux kernel can manager MIDI but does anyone ever tried this?

I don't have the hardware to verify but expect it should work fine. Plover is still completely in charge of capturing the input and generating the output.
