Thanks for the offer @Arcanemagus! My main interest is fixing this bug, although I might be interested in helping with CSSLint/csslint#230. If that gets completed, perhaps we can use upstream in linter-csslint?

csslint development has returned to being dormant unfortunately, it took over a year to get the JSON reporter merged in there 😞. We would definitely need something like that introduced before moving back to the official fork. This version is actually a bit out of date as it doesn't include the last spurt of changes they did a few months back.

If you are interested in CSS (and more) linting I would highly recommend looking into stylelint as it is a modern linter that actually works and is actively developed 😛.
