[Feature] IPv6/Dualstack support in Karpenter #1207

Tell us about your request

The list of unsupported features does mention lack of support for IPv6 clusters, which seems indeed to be missing given the placeholder code (e.g.

// TODO: IPv6 deferred for now. When they're used they must be put onto a non-primary NIC.
).

Any plans for supporting this? Is there not enough interest from current users, or are there specific technical challenges or other blockers?

Tell us about the problem you're trying to solve. What are you trying to do, and why is it hard?

IPv6 support is a business requirement for us at this point, and with missing support for it we are unable to leverage Karpenter (and NAP on AKS). At least that's my understanding. If it's not the case, perhaps the doc could provide more details on how that would be possible :)

Are you currently working around this issue?

I'm currently trying to understand the plans for this issue, which right now seems to be a complete adoption blocker unfortunately. But perhaps there are workarounds that I've not been able to find in the doc
