Sry, but i can't reproduse you issue.
The error say, it can't downoald the zip compleately.
Over 3k downloads before of this version work like a charm, and also a test after your info from me, also work.

Could it be an internet problem on your side?

What for Proxmox version you are use?

internet seems fine so far. I am using PVE 9.0.11

But you are right, seems to work for almost everyone. I would like to use it as well :-)

An AI tells me that the file mentioned in the script is not there:

INSTALL

For now I had problems with my testing envirenment, because of network rebuild. I cant bring my test system online for testing.

I checked the 'ultimate-updater_v4_5_2.tar.gz file and it work here.

you can test with:

mkdir /root/Ultimate-Updater-Temp

curl -s https://api.github.com/repos/BassT23/Proxmox/releases/latest | grep "browser_download_url" | cut -d : -f 2,3 | tr -d \" | wget -i - -q -O /root/Ultimate-Updater-Temp/ultimate-updater.tar.gz

and then disable the curl in the code above. with this you should be able to install the updater.

I think you had a problem with you unzip tool, maybe

testing download and unzip work here like a charm:
