Timeout in browser when trying to add new character on some Android phones

When trying to add a new character the process times out in the browser after confirming the scopes for a character.

The browser shows this error:

Your connection was interrupted.
A network change was detected.
ERR_NETWORK_CHANGED

This happens on some Android phones, but works fine on others. On affected phones this issue occurs always and effectively prevents the user from adding a character.

Note

A similar behavior can be encountered when unrestricted background usage has not yet been enabled for EVE Buddy.
That is a different issue though and easy to fix through proper configuration.

Issue still there, it just infinitely buffers for me and I can't get past the chose character selection after previously doing so the first time. Like it's already been added or something.

Thank you for the feedback. Can you confirm that you have enabled unrestricted background usage for EVE Buddy?

That's seemed to work thanks, I just put my battery usage to unrestricted and it works fine now. Tried with multiple accounts.

Also real quick for a suggestion: Can you put a total sp amount in the training tab, just makes it easier to know how much I actually need for my queue.

Glad to hear that this was an unrelated issue and easy to solve. Keeping my fingers crossed that this bug has finally been squashed :-D

Update

On Samsung Galaxy this issue was caused by the Power saving mode. The solution is to turn off power saving.
