Additional Context

teal.fm uses Bluesky ATProto to scrobble to a user's PDS.

All that is needed is to createRecord with type of fm.teal.alpha.feed.play with the appropriate fields on a user's behalf.

Will probably use bluesky-oauth-nextjs as a reference project for setting up oauth with bluesky -- uses official atproto oauth client and api

May use app password instead since oauth seems to be new and has potential to change, plus it is much more complicated to implement.

nts-teal-piper uses the same auth mechanism and this should be able to be used with @atproto/api

It looks like the atproto oauth spec enforces either

• 127.0.0.1/localhost for hostname OR
• non-ip/non-localhost hostname that must use https protocol.

which means i'll need to implement app password after all, for users who don't have ms behind a reverse proxy
