What you’ll find here

  • Models:
    • ☀️ SSolar-GOA: Physical, fast, efficient, and accurate spectral radiative transfer model to estimate the spectral components of solar radiation at the surface level in the solar spectral range, from 300 to 2600 nm.
    • 🌙 rimopy: Python implementation of RIMO, a lunar irradiance model for night-time aerosol optical depth (AOD) retrieval from lunar photometry.
  • Data acquisition:
    • 🌧️🌡️meteostation: Software tool for retrieving, storing and plotting data from Thies Clima meteorological stations. Designed specifically for use with the Thies Clima Clima Sensor US (part number 4.920x.x0.00x)
    • 📡☀️pyrano: Lightweight utility for reading solar radiometer data and sending it to a central database, with built-in plot generation.
    • 📟❄️apogeo: Support software for acquiring and handling measurements from a CR300 datalogger operating with a dual-radiometer setup at the Marambio Antarctic base.
  • Instrument control and drivers:
    • ⚙️🔭solys2: Python interface for controlling Kipp & Zonen Solys 2 solar tracker.
