normalize the FRC value

After reading the paper and code, I'm curious about why this function was chosen to normalize the FRC value. Could you please provide more information on this?

Dear @vivicki77,

We are using the logistic conversion for the FRC normalization to avoid a linearity and give less weight to the extrem values and more weight to the medium range values.
