[Bug]: LACT fails top open when certain themes are active

Description

When the theme "Tokyo Night" is active, LACT will not open. I'm not sure if this happens on other themes, but it seems to stem from this file

~/.local/share/themes/Tokyo-Night/gtk-4.0/settings.ini

When opening up LACT through terminal, this message spams at a rate of about 10 messages per second

(lact:1335483): Gtk-WARNING **: 00:35:17.405: Unknown key gtk-modules in /home/pete/.local/share/themes/Tokyo-Night/gtk-4.0/settings.ini

For your convenience, this is the file in question.

If I switch themes (such as to Rose Pine), LACT opens with no issues.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Use Tokyo Night theme (possibly other themes)
2. Try to open LACT (from terminal would be most informative)

Expected Behavior

LACT should open

Actual Behavior

LACT process opens in background but GUI never pops up. Opening from terminal shows a constant rapid stream of errors.

It's really strange bug. This is the archive, there is no settings.ini in it.

For now, I will add a hook to just remove this file. This is not needed anyway.

Ow if you are using nwg-look it will generate it too if users tick this

@kRHYME7 I've never opened that before, but did just now to check and that option is unchecked like in your screenshot. I did notice that when doing ls it says settings.ini was modified on august 4th, along with two other files, so perhaps something else is adding those files.

Those are transient files, so I will never know. If you're interested to dig deeper, I would appreciate any info about this. Looks like the modification date matches the time you change the theme. Let me know if you can replicate this.

I installed HyDE at least a week ago, so august 4th is not the install date. However I did add 4 themes from waybar > themes > more themes via the TUI. I dont recall if I selected Tokyo Night from that or not. I'm also not sure August 4th is the date I did that, though it sounds right to me.

I do know for sure that i installed "Gtk_Tundra" but nothing in that folder as any recent modified date (as shown)

Just started getting the same thing on another theme.. not sure what caused it yet, but I didnt install anything, including any themes, since last time.

I did, however, switch to this theme shortly before noticing lact wasn't opening again

This won't be a problem soon.

Can you check the realpath of the settings.ini? don't delete it yet.

see if this really exist and when was it created in here.

You can also use the rc Branch if you're comfortable with it. It's a release candidate branch which usually receives earlier changes before merging to the master branch.
