Hi! I've seen your screenshot and looks like you also have a widescreen monitor. For us peasants🤣 we don't have that.

Actually, the fix for this is to scale the holograph to with the monitor.

I have a patch for this in comments in hyprdots, but I can't retrieve it yet.

So what I did back then is.

1. Detect active monitor's aspect ratio

2. check if user got cache holograph with corresponding ratio.

3. use magick to transform the holograph into the same aspect ratio as monitor example:16:9 ---> 4:3
   or
   1.7777 to 1.33333333

4. then save/cache the converted image into something like holo_1.7777777.png etc.

Ah yeah mine are 2560x1440 haha sadly not wide enough!

I'll have a poke around through hyprdots and see if I can get something worked out :) I'll bundle it with a game Launcher selector too so the other themes can be used easily

I see you got the same aspect ratio with hyprdots therefore it works ootb. Can you try the latest dev changes for the game launcher?

So what changed is I modify all px units to scale using em or %.

yup that would be helpful. Though vertical monitors need a separate .rasi file and different set of config.

I tried it with 3 monitors and it looks scaled for me.
