Prevent Windows from Sleeping While Compact Is Running

Can the program be made to prevent windows from going to sleep while it's working on something? Recently I decided to let it compress a big folder (160+ GB) and went out right after I made sure it was set to compressing and after I locked the PC. When I came back I noticed that my PC was asleep and very little progress was made over the course of an hour.
