Unity log loses selected item after clearing search field

If you have a lot of unity logs , you need to filter using search. If you select a result, and then clear the search to see the log line in situ, to see the logs before and after it, your selection is cleared, so you have to manually read through the logs to re-find the row.
It would be a big help if the selected row remained selected after changing the search criteria.
