Join us for three days of coding, collaboration, and networking with members of BMEIS.

Event Details

Dates: June 24-26, 2026 (Wednesday to Friday) Time: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM daily Venue: Hinduja Lecture Theatre, London Institute for Healthcare Engineering (LIHE), King's College London, St Thomas' Campus, 100 Lambeth Palace Road, London SE1 7AR

Registration Fee: £10 (includes tea, coffee, and lunch for all 3 days)

Project Ideas: Project Ideas: Students, post-docs, and PIs are all encouraged to pitch project ideas. We welcome any code project that you feel is achievable in three days and that solves a known biomedical challenge, using data that is open/you already have access to. Participants can also self-select into projects that interest them. Submit your project ideas using the Project Proposal Template. Some starter example projects are included.

• 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM: Hacking begins

Project Submission

All teams must submit their project using the Project Proposal Template.

Submit your proposal by:

1. Creating a new file in the projects/ folder
2. Name it after your project (e.g., projects/my-project-name.md)
3. Use the template as a guide
