No background color in SVG icons since version 2.9

I was sure I tested this, but maybe I only checked the text color. The background color is always transparent since version 2.9, ignoring the specified one.

could be so kind to tell whether SVG icon or WebExtension badge is better in terms of performance?

@sergeevabc SVG icons are rendered as images and there is a cache bug that Firefox keeps accumulating image URLs. So maybe WebExtension badges perform better. But they are uglier. And anyways I don't think this will be a bottleneck. Note that I took care to ensure that the extension performs well, avoiding continuous calls of tabs.query that most other tab counters use.
