I'm getting multiple WARNING messages:

[13:14:58 WRN] You do not have a valid license key for the Lucky Penny software AutoMapper. This is allowed for development and testing scenarios. If you are running in production you are required to have a licensed version. Please visit https://luckypennysoftware.com to obtain a valid license.

The key is generated and ACTIVE on Automapper.io. I add the key via Configuration and checked that it's getting added during the AddAutoMapper registration in my Program.cs for my ASPNET service. .NET 9.0.7.

I read the 4565 comment, dependency mismatch. However, is this something that is considered a feature and not a bug?

Should I downgrade to 14.0?

Can you check to see if you're calling AddAutoMapper multiple times? If it's called again the value can be cleared out. Otherwise we'll need a minimal repro.

The first looks good but then it's followed by numerous lines saying 'You do not have a valid license key...'. (see below)

So I think I'm good. I just need to get a production license when we deploy to production?

That might mean you've got configuration called multiple times, with services.AddAutoMapper we register the MapperConfiguration as a singleton and the license check only happens once. If you see the log entry multiple times like this, something else wonky is going on.

Thx. That answers it for me. I now know where to look.

Found out I had multiple places where I was calling LoggerConfiguration. I refactored them into a reusable Profiles (in one place) and now all the warnings are gone. Thanks again Jimmy. Should've paid closer attention to your explanation.

No worries! I think it didn't affect things before but now the options patterns is being used as intended, so you get to see these fun side effects.
