This thesis is in the field of radio astronomy, focusing on using MeerKAT to study the polarization properties of the Pictor A radio galaxy. It details all the calibration and imaging steps taken to produce science-ready radio spectropolarimetric data from MeerKAT L-band observations of Pictor A.
We discuss the scientific insights obtained from the data and the tools developed throughout this work. All calibration recipes, software, and processing steps are explicitly outlined for the reader's benefit.
