The NeTEx European Passenger Information Profile (EPIP) is a subset of the full NeTEx schema that covers the most important data elements for providing passenger information, such as stop locations, routes, timetables, and fares.
The EPIP profile is designed to be used by developers of passenger information systems, but it can also be used by other stakeholders, such as transport operators and data providers.
The NeTEx EPIP profile is available in XSD format, which can be imported into NeTEx XML editors to provide validation and support for editing EPIP-compliant NeTEx files.
