Our Grocery Delivery App is built using the MERN stack, incorporating modern technologies like Tailwind CSS for styling, Socket.IO for real-time updates, and Razorpay API for secure payment processing. The client-side is developed with Vite React, while the server is built using Node.js.

Navigate to the Project Directory: cd grocery-delivery-app

Install Dependencies:
- For the client-side (Vite React):
cd client npm install - For the server-side (Node.js):
cd server npm install
- Set Up MongoDB Atlas:
- Create a new cluster on MongoDB Atlas.
- Get the connection string and add it to a
.envfile in the server directory:MONGODB_CONNECT_STRING="mongodb+srv://username:[email protected]/"
- Set Up Razorpay API:
- Create a Razorpay account and generate API keys.
- Add the keys to the
.envfile in the server directory:RAZORPAY_KEY_ID="your_key_id" RAZORPAY_KEY_SECRET="your_key_secret"
- Start the Development Servers:
- Start the client-side server:
cd client npm run dev - Start the server-side server:
cd server node index.js
- Access the Application:
- Open a web browser and navigate to
http://localhost:5173(default Vite port).
