1024x768 Resolution

It is well documented that there is only one supported resolution 1024x768.
Is there hope that this might change going forward - or should we just work with it?

The graphics bridge is currently only partially implemented in MacHyperVSupport. It'd require writing a framebuffer driver for Hyper-V; there's still a lot more work needed to accommodate resizeable framebuffer resolutions (among them being Lilu support, SysKC injection for linking IOGraphicsFamily, etc). Though currently, any virtual display (i.e. through BetterDisplay) can use a different resolution.

I'm not the author of the MacHyperVSupport package though I've focused on fixing DDA support upstream for AMD GPUs. Due to bandwidth, there's not much I can do there for now.

A basic framebuffer driver was added in acidanthera/MacHyperVSupport#9 that supports different framebuffer resolutions and hardware cursor rendering.

Will need to update documentation and look more into the synthetic graphics driver added. I believe the list of graphics modes is exhaustive of what resolutions are supported but will have to look into how the VMBus interop w/ Hyper-V graphics works (which may pipe back resolutions on resize).
