add possibility to paste an image or a file in the cli from clipboard on windows command prompt

Why is this needed?

to easy paste a file copied instead to add the path of it

@dvelm Thank you for your feedback. If you need to copy from a webpage or paste a screenshot into the input box, you can use Alt+V to paste in Windows. If you want to paste a local file or image, you can directly select the file in the system and copy it. Alternatively, you can use Ctrl+V in the command line to paste the path directly into the input box (this is a built-in Windows feature). Do you have any other interactive requirements?

using windows 10 and command prompt . none of these methods work to paste images previously copied, with ctrl + c or right mouse click and copy, pressing Alt+V or Ctrl+V doesn't paste an image or a file copied to the cli, while claude code does it. the ideal would be that if copying a file from a folder with ctrl + c or right mouse click and copy, then pasting to the cli, it should have to automatically recognize a picture and enable the read image feature or paste the file path if the file is different from an image file

@dvelm First, check if you can copy the file using right-click or Ctrl+C, and then copy the path to the command line using Ctrl+V. If you can copy it, qwencode will behave the same way. If not, you need to check your command line for issues.

as said I can copy and paste in claude code. also for other copy paste. it's in the comamnd prompt of windows that qwen code and also gemini cli can't paste . If I copy text or grab a file in the cli it writes the path but with shortcut or right mouse click doesn't

I had this problem then I couldn't past images using Ctrl+c than Ctrl+v but it worked when I did Ctrl+c than Alt+v ( I can't see the actual image but I can see a text that says : Attachments:[clipboard-1774482536799.png] == this is a screenshots of I took using Shift+Windows+S. I hope this helps

@dvelm you're right! "copying a file also image with ctrl + c and paste with ctrl +v" It's a Claudecode support feature we don't yet have, and it only works on Windows. We'll document it as a feature request and update the status here once the relevant feature is developed.

good to know . qwen code is getting better and with new models the results are more precise . I use it daily . Also it gives better results than others once it is correctly set.
Another issue is that on windows and also maybe other systems , can't read the full shell output , so it gives for true that full command was run but didn't and then says that the shell output was truncated . can't read the full shell output and input too probably . fixing these errors improve the tool and the results

Pasting screenshots on MAC with CMD+V does not work, is there a workaround other than saving locally then manually copying the path into the prompt of qwen code ( cli )
