Does it support caching mechanism at Jpa Processor Side ?

We want to implement caching mechanism at jpa processor side, is it possible ?
Reason : Due to performance issue

The JP Processor does not provide a hook to create a cache. So, currently the only option without changing the JPA Processor is to cache HTTP response based on the request.
I a hook is provided, what would you cache, the SQL result or the serializer result?

Thanks for your valuable reply, we need to cache SQL result, if possible can you provide hook to cache SQL result based on the request.
