Docker-compose example use MariaDB 10.0.x. MariaDB is now at 10.5.x . Safe to use?

The examples use MariaDB 10.0.x. (more than 3 years old) Is this a constraint, or can one use the more recent versions?

Same question: the docker-compose uses registry:2.6 - safe to use 2.7?
