One-click jump between the same file in Synology Drive (on-demand) and the
SMB share, right from Finder. Both directions.

You know the pain: you find a file deep in Synology Drive, but it's too heavy to
pull down on-demand, so you open the same share over SMB and walk the whole path
again by hand. This does it in one click.

What it does

  • Right-click a file or folder → Synology Swap → its counterpart opens in the other source.
  • Works both ways, direction auto-detected.
  • If the SMB share isn't mounted, it mounts it from your Keychain first.
  • The counterpart opens as a Finder tab; swap back and it returns to the tab you already had open.
  • Interactive installer asks which SMB share each Drive folder maps to. It never guesses an unmounted share.

Requirements

macOS, the Synology Drive Client, and SMB access to the same shares. No dependencies, pure /bin/bash.
