1 deferred package is seeing all incorrectly treated as deferred.

apt on Ubuntu 24.04, when it sees there is 1 package to be deferred, because I have "hide deferred packages" enabled, it is actually hiding BOTH the deferred and the installable packages so it is saying it is up to date when packages exist to install.

^ see the 1 deferred package with others to be upgraded? ^ and you can see the "kept back" package is properly in the hidden list, but the others that are not kept back are also in that list instead of showing as available upgrades.

My version is 2026.7.2

I had a look and I think it may be the case that they were kept back at one stage in time, and so hidden at that time when they were kept back, and then when they are no longer kept back it is not removing them from hidden they are just staying hidden even when they are ready for install and no longer kept back.
