I am a Software Engineer with a strong passion for DevOps, actively expanding my expertise in frontend development, cloud solutions, automation, and containerization. As I continue to grow in my career, I am diving deep into DevOps practices to improve deployment pipelines, enhance infrastructure management, and automate workflows. Currently, I am studying for the AWS Cloud Practitioner and AWS Solutions Architect certifications on ALX AWS Cloud Computing program to deepen my knowledge of cloud architectures and enhance my skills in managing scalable, reliable systems. With a focus on scalable cloud solutions and modern containerization techniques like Docker and Kubernetes, I aim to bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring efficient, reliable, and resilient systems.

My current projects revolve around leveraging DevOps practices to improve the software development lifecycle, focusing on automation, scalability, and efficiency. I am working on:

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Defining and provisioning cloud resources using Terraform to ensure consistency and scalability across environments.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI/CD to automate testing, building, and deployment, accelerating the software delivery process.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Developing and deploying containerized applications with Docker and managing them using Kubernetes for high availability and seamless scaling across cloud environments.
  • Automation & Configuration Management: Automating infrastructure setup and application deployment using Ansible, reducing manual efforts and ensuring consistency across systems.
  • Cloud-Native Technologies: Leveraging cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP to build scalable, secure, and high-performing applications and infrastructures.
  • Monitoring & Incident Management: Integrating monitoring tools and enhancing system reliability with practices learned in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to ensure applications are always up and running smoothly.
