FYI regarding upstream project status

This is an FYI about the upstream support status, the author says quote:

I've stopped working on it but maybe I'll return to it some day. 

Nobody else appears to have the rights to commit or release, and requests to discuss the projects future have been left unanswered.

The first version 4.8.2 of the fork adminerevo was now released.

A question about a docker image was also raised (but I think the project has enough to do without worrying about docker containers):

I've done a quick hack job of getting this working based on this repo. I needed it building in our CI on Gitlab, and I also wanted to use the Debian Apache PHP image instead of the built in PHP Dev server.

The fork mentioned here https://github.com/adminerevo/adminerevo appears discontinued. Perhaps the most promising effort now appears to be https://github.com/adminerneo/adminerneo

Note that the author seems to have an opinionated vision. We'll see where it goes, I suppose

Without a docker image it probably won't survive, just like for adminerevo. Significantly less people will use it, so it will have less interest,so it will have less maintainers, and so on.

I've create a docker image for AdminerNeo. It's not official, however, it works well for me. I hope it helps.

@xerno That is very encouraging. You should consider contributing it directly to the repo though, that way it will achieve it's intended effect. The old fork also had multiple docker images, but they weren't part of the main project. Thanks for taking the initiative!
