And does the S8 image really need to be the highres 21 MB version?

only ABSR

* Bug fixes:
- Updated UltiMaker S8 profiles to significantly improve the quality of PC, CPE, CPE+, PETG, support structures, and dual extrusion prints
- Support brims no longer listen to the Brim Distance setting, so the brims will always be attached to the support
- Fixed a bug where the extruders weren't set correctly when printing with a single extruder

Fixed a bug affecting multi-extruder printers where the initial temperature was not set correctly at the start of a print if all features used an extruder other than T0.

Not what was addressed.
I would remove this as it's a partial improvement for within a single island movement and does not resolve the original issue completely. The travel still could happen in the disallowed area that the inside travel avoid distance marks.

Please ask for an image with sensible size and dimensions.
we can ignore up to 1MB file sizes for these images but the maximum render size of these on the monitor tab is less than 120x120 px

All images now have a width of 300px as a constant factor. This is still more than twice the width that will display on the Monitor Tab.
Render quality on the user's screen remains the same.
