Note on Flow the book 11 07 2020
Reading the book Flow by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi I came across the hypothetical scenario that what if we could use up our consciousness infinitely -- we could do so many things -- we could process so many things. We could virtually live infinitely many lifetimes. For those of you who don't get this, remind yourself that your consciousness is all there is and that you are only as much as your consciousness let's you be, so if your consciousness allows you you can experience a lot more than you currently do and even experience multiple lifetimes ( your consciousness would let you imagine and experience many lifetimes as if it were real -- and who knows maybe it will be.)
Well that was a thought experiment but here's what I found wonderful -- and what motivated me to write this, I might not be able to describe it you but I'll have a try. If our consciousness is all there is and if it makes me experience whatever I experience and if I can control my consciousness then won't I want to experience more vividly? And the answer that came from within me was a resounding yes. I want to live more vividly, more consciously. I think I am getting a hang of the main idea of the book.
