PDF extract with no spaces and no colors

Hello, I annotated a journal article with different colors. I turned on the optional checkboxes for page numbers and colors. However, the file that is created, all the PDF text has no spaces, my annotation comments are not extracted, and there are no color indications. Any solutions?

First of all, a big thank you to the developer for this plugin.
I get the same issue when extracting highlights from a pdf. All highlights are extracted in a single word. I have tried using different pdf readers, such as xodo, Foxit and adobe, but the issue persists.
Does anyone found a solution?

I can confirm, this is the case with me as well. I don't see any recent commits. So, plugin development may be inactive.

Same here. I tried with several popular PDF readers on both PC and mobile but still no space and no color indicator. The strange thing is sometimes when I copy those no-space extractions into MS txt pad, they suddenly become normal. But in short, will this be fixed? Thank you.
